
Absolute Collagen is a premium beauty brand where I currently work as a Graphic Designer, leading creative output across packaging, digital, and brand campaigns. The role has allowed me to shape a refined and consistent visual identity across all customer touch points, from product launches to storytelling-led campaigns.
Working closely with teams across marketing, CRM, e-commerce, and product development, I’ve helped bring new ranges to life through thoughtful design, attention to detail, and strong collaborative processes.
Packaging Design
Packaging plays a vital role in how Absolute Collagen expresses its identity to consumers. I lead the creation of packaging for our new product launches, ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s values of simplicity, confidence, and beauty.
From collagen sachets and gift kits to powders and limited editions, I oversee the full process, developing initial concepts, adapting dielines, briefing suppliers, and proofing artwork for print. Each piece is built for both shelf presence and a premium unboxing experience.
I also take responsibility for ensuring alignment with evolving brand guidelines, including handling late-stage changes and managing quick turnarounds with care and precision.

New Product Development (NPD)
Working alongside the NPD team, I contribute to the early visual development of new products—this includes colour matching, material sampling, and defining the look and feel of emerging formats. Whether reviewing Pantone references, print proofs, or packaging prototypes, I ensure that every product aligns with our high design standards.
A recent example includes the launch of our new powder product, where I played a key role in shaping the visual direction and helped develop a more collaborative workflow using Milanote to keep teams aligned.

Digital Campaigns
In addition to packaging, I lead on digital creative across a range of marketing channels. This includes campaign rollout design for email, paid social, landing pages, and ambassador activations. My role is to ensure visual cohesion across touch points, always pushing for a premium feel and strong brand storytelling.
Recent highlights include the Boots launch campaign, where I designed a full suite of email flows and supporting assets, and our organic social refresh, where I embraced new brand guidelines to improve the overall feed style. I also supported the visual execution of our B Corp Impact Report, which was delivered on time and received extremely positive feedback from leadership.

Creative Process & Collaboration
My role at Absolute Collagen has deepened my ability to manage cross-functional creative projects. I’ve built stronger relationships with our CRM and digital teams, helping us work more smoothly together, even during periods of high change and team transition.
Whether it’s embracing new tools like AI and Firefly to streamline ideation, or showing up for last-minute packaging amends with a positive attitude, I’m committed to quality and collaboration.

Reflection
This role has allowed me to expand both my technical and strategic design skills, from managing print artwork at scale to shaping the visual future of a fast-growing beauty brand. It's also made clear the importance of pre-planning, creative space, and continuing to develop leadership skills as I look toward creative direction and team collaboration in future roles.
