Various Product Proposals – Captivate Brands
During my time at Captivate Brands, I created a wide range of product mockups and concept visuals that were presented to major retailers including Dunelm and TK Maxx. These proposals explored seasonal trends, material applications, and packaging ideas across a diverse selection of categories including hydration, storage, kitchen textiles, cool bags, and home accessories.
Each concept was developed with a strong focus on trend relevance, commercial appeal, and clear visual storytelling. The aim was to present collections that felt cohesive and retail-ready while allowing flexibility for adaptation across different product ranges.
Artwork and Illustration
All surface patterns, motifs, and illustrations featured in these visuals were created by me, tailored to align with current and forecasted design trends. I explored a variety of illustrative styles—from bold, graphic prints to hand-drawn details and nature-inspired patterns.
Where appropriate, I applied techniques such as:
• Repeating patterns for all-over prints
• Placement graphics for targeted decoration
• Reactive glaze simulation and texture overlays
• Visualisation and Presentation
To bring each concept to life, I created detailed, photorealistic product mockups that could be used to present collections to internal teams and retail buyers. These visuals helped communicate everything from colour application and product styling to packaging format and shelf appeal.
Design skills used:
• Trend research and concept development
• Surface pattern and illustration creation
• Product mockup rendering
• Presentation layout and visual storytelling
