This project stands out as one of the proudest moments in my design career. I was introduced to this brand in late 2020 when it was being considered as a licensed addition to our company’s portfolio. Captivated by its distinctive patterns and visual identity, I proactively put myself forward to lead the design efforts and I’m incredibly proud of the results we achieved.

Concept Development & Product Design
We were provided with the brand’s signature patterns and tasked with developing a cohesive kitchenware and homeware collection that honoured their aesthetic. I conducted extensive research into product shapes, materials, and functionalities that would align with the brand’s identity. Collaborating closely with our 3D developer, I created detailed visual mockups to bring the collection to life.
These visuals were presented to the brand for feedback and refinement. Working in close collaboration with the brand, I ensured that the final designs reflected the exact style, colour palette, and overall vision the brand was aiming for.
Design skills used:
• Visual trend research & product ideation
• 3D concept visualisation
• Brand-aligned colour matching & pattern application
• Collaborative stakeholder feedback integration

Packaging Design & Sustainability
Once the product range was approved and production began, I took on the challenge of creating packaging that would complement the brand while meeting modern sustainability standards. Each dieline was carefully crafted to suit its product while retaining the brand's signature style.
To reduce waste and promote reusability, I proposed using printed sleeves for all boxed items. This allowed customers to retain the beautifully designed dalmatian print boxes for storage or re-use. All packaging components, sleeves, swing tags, and backing cards were printed with a matte varnish finish and minimal gold foil detailing to enhance recyclability.
Design skills used:
• Structural packaging design
• Print-ready dieline creation
• Sustainable material sourcing
• Finishing techniques (matte varnish, gold foil)

Outcome & Recognition
This collaboration resulted in the development of over 100 unique products for the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2021 launch, an unprecedented achievement for our team. The full collection was selected by John Lewis, with a follow-up Spring/Summer 2022 collection also landing in John Lewis stores and select items picked up by Next.
